CONSCIOUS JOURNEY

For us, responsibility means respecting our planet, valuing people, and supporting one another—principles firmly embedded in our brand values. We aim to balance maximizing positive impact with minimizing our footprint by creating wear-forever, high-quality pieces and producing the exact quantities sold.

Our Responsibility Strategy is guided by a roadmap aligned with the 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s), focusing on those most closely aligned with our brand values. These goals are integrated into our Responsibility Policy under four pillars: Our People, Our Planet, Our Product, and Our Operations.

Through this concerted effort we aim to leverage our positive impact, conquer challenges and like Dante Alighieri, achieve the ultimate dream of attaining the seemingly impossible, beautiful aesthetics in a better world.

Our People.

Our conscious journey is rooted in transparency, fostering trust through
openness. As part of our commitment to a more responsible supply chain
and to prepare for evolving regulatory requirements, we are a proud
member of Amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative).
Amfori, the industry’s leading NGO in social and environmental compliance,
offers a recognized framework for due diligence in global supply chains.
Through our Amfori membership, we support our business partners ensuring
increased transparency and fair working conditions and strengthening the
protection of workers rights.

Our Planet.

To care for our planet, we focus on reducing our footprint while maximizing
positive impact. Through the Amfori Business Environmental Performance
Initiative (BEPI), we support our production partners in managing and
continuously improving their environmental performance across key areas
such as energy and climate, air emissions, water, effluents and chemical
usage. Closer to home, we guide and inspire our customers to care for their
clothes in more sustainable ways—prolonging their lifespan, using fewer
resources, and embracing responsible practices.
For our packaging: all paper materials are sourced from FSC-certified wood,
all plastic packaging is made from certified recycled plastic, and we use
mono-material packaging wherever possible to enhance recyclability.

Our Product.

We are committed to decreasing the impact of our materials by prioritizing
low-impact options. We keep a record on the content and origin of our raw
materials and ask our suppliers to source for sustainable or preferred raw
materials such as OCS organic cotton (Organic Cotton Standard), RWS wool
(Responsible Wool Standard), RAS alpaca (Responsible Alpaca Standard),
GRS recycled fibres (Global Recycled Standard) and FSC certified cellulose
fibres (Forest Stewardship Council). To formalize our effort, our Responsible
Materials Strategy includes a goal- and target setting to increase the
percentage of responsible materials with each collection.
Our most recent collection featured 63% sustainable materials and we are
firmly committed to grow to 75% and beyond. We actively collaborate with
fabric mills and production partners to drive the availability of more responsible
options across the industry.

Our Operations.

Our Responsibility Policy includes a commitment to responsible stock
management, producing thoughtfully to minimize waste. We only produce
quantities that are ordered, avoiding overproduction. In case of any surplus
stock, we regularly donate these items to charitable organizations, including
the Kledingbank Rotterdam Foundation and the Dress for Success Foundation.
To preserve our world’s resources, we commit to increasing textile reuse and
recycling. As a member of the Dutch UPV Foundation, we fulfill obligations
under the EU’s Extended Producer Responsibility law, supporting a circular
textile chain. Together with other members, we drive innovation and system
change to make circularity a reality.
